Gelato Milanese
Gelato Milanese is a small, charming gelateria near ‘het Mechelseplein’ in the city center of Antwerp. The owner is authentically Italian, speaks only a few words of Dutch, and makes the most divine fresh artisanal ice cream—you can tell by the success of his shop. If you’re craving ice cream and happen to be in the area, this is truly one of the best gelatos you can get in Antwerp. They use homemade, fresh ingredients, and you can both see and taste the difference. Alongside their fixed flavors, they also offer daily specials. The service is the sweetest, always with a smile and a warm thank you. There’s a small terrace in front, but it’s mainly a take-out spot. And don’t forget—you can also order ice cream to enjoy at home. Prices for 1, 2 and 3 scoops are €3,5; €6,5 and €9. Toppings cost an additional €0,7. Cream costs an additional €0,9. • Mocha and pistachio icecream on a normal cone• Vanilla icecream in a cup with Brésilienne nuts
