Edel Rot
Edel Rot is a wine bar, eatery, and shop in the city center of Ghent. They are open for apero and dinner and serve natural wine, wild beer, artisan drinks and comfort food. Their kitchen draws inspiration from all over the world. They serve comfy bar snacks, full of flavour, with quality products. Rather in the form of small plates to share (or not). It’s no fine dining, but honest comfort food with a touch of refinement. During the week they also serve sandwiches and croques for lunch. Vegan options are also available. You can just stop by for a glass or a whole evening, with or without food, or even a pit stop at the shop to replenish your supplies for home. The interior of Edel Rot is a bit vintage and super colorful. Vibes are no nonsense, casual and laid-back. Oh, and their terrace is so cute and cozy! PS: every now and then they organize a special ‘Zure Zondag’ event. It’s a guided beer tasting event where they put sour beers in the spotlight. Prices for apero bites are between €3,3 and €9. Prices for (small) plates are between €5 and €18. Prices for desserts are between €3 and €5,5. Prices for sandwiches and croques are between €7,5 and €15.
